Mostar Day Trip from Dubrovnik: The Complete Guide

Mostar makes a superb day trip from Dubrovnik, and with an early start you can see far more than just the famous bridge.
Aim to leave by around 8am. The drive takes roughly three hours each way, crossing the border into Bosnia and Herzegovina. Reach Mostar by late morning to walk the Old Town and see the rebuilt Stari Most before the midday crowds.
On the way back, break the journey at Blagaj, where a dervish house sits against a cliff at the source of the Buna river, and at the wide curtain of Kravice Falls. It is a long but deeply rewarding day.
